Western Equipment Solutions Featured in ADSC Foundation Drilling Magazine for Advancing Compact Drilling Technology

Western Equipment Solutions (WES), a leading distributor of foundation drilling equipment across the Central and Western United States, has been featured in the April 2025 issue of ADSC Foundation Drilling magazine. The article, written by WES’s marketing director Celeste Wilson, highlights the debut and industry impact of the new Tescar TT10 compact drilling rig.

Delivered to Colorado in early 2024, the TT10 represents the newest evolution in Tescar’s long-running line of compact, high-performance drilling rigs. Originally introduced as the CF10 in 2005, the design has been fully reengineered into a purpose-built foundation drilling machine.

The latest TT10 features a CASE CX160E excavator base, a Tier 4F Stage 5 FPT powertrain, an advanced hydraulic system, and a double-motor oil-bath rotary capable of producing 76,736 foot-pounds of torque.

The article details several major enhancements, including a redesigned mast with a removable extension for low-headroom work, a three-position rotary trolley, interchangeable Kelly bars, and a maximum drilling depth of 118 feet. Additional innovations include Tescar’s CRS and CCMS crowd systems, which enhance casing insertion and extraction efficiency on complex job sites.

WES serves as the exclusive distributor for Tescar equipment in the region, supporting contractors with sales, rentals, parts, and technical services. The feature reinforces the company’s ongoing commitment to supplying advanced drilling solutions and expert support to the foundation industry.
