The vibrations reduce the forces between the soil particles, making it easier for them to move closer together into a denser arrangement.
Top Feed Method
The “Top Feed Method” for building stone columns is recognized as the most cost-effective technique for improving ground stability. It uses a vibrolance that hangs freely and shakes side to side. This action drives the vibrolance into the ground, compressing the soil to the sides to make space for the stone column built in the created hole.
