The MME is a lightweight drilling attachment designed for excavators in the 5–10 ton range. It incorporates many of the advanced features found in the larger HEM model while maintaining a compact and efficient form. Utilizing the same durable aluminum feed system as TEI’s man-portable drills, the MME is often preferred by contractors as their go-to “outside” drill, complementing the man-portable version used for indoor applications. Powered by TEI’s patented drifter technology, the MME is ideal for a range of drilling tasks, including the installation of micropiles, soil nails, tiebacks, rock anchors, and popular hollow bar systems.
