Official Distributor
Since 2003, M&S Gruseck has manufactured drilling tools and wear parts for the foundation drilling industry, with all products produced in-house at its facility in Kippenheim, Germany. From carbide construction to quick-change tools to TRISCAR conicals, every M&S Gruseck product is built to one standard: Made-in-Germany quality that keeps your rig turning.

M&S Gruseck: drilling tools engineered to resist

M&S Gruseck develops and manufactures the tools that actually cut: carbide teeth, bars, holders, and casing screws for drilling rigs and trench wall cutters. Wherever casing, augers, core barrels, and drilling buckets meet hard ground, M&S Gruseck tools deliver long service life and less downtime.

Carbide built for the most challenging applications

M&S Gruseck Triscar conicals are engineered with premium carbide grades and a deeply embedded carbide insert that provides exceptional support and retention within the steel body. Unlike cutting teeth, where the carbide is more exposed or supported by a shallower pocket, the Triscar design surrounds and supports more of the carbide. This helps reduce carbide breakage, chipping, and premature insert loss when drilling in highly abrasive soils, hard rock, and other demanding formations.

The result is:

  • Greater carbide retention
  • Better resistance to impact and side loading
  • Reduced chipping and breakage
  • Longer cutting-tool life
  • More consistent cutting performance in difficult ground
  • Less downtime replacing worn or failed teeth

Premium carbide is only part of the equation. How the carbide is supported matters, and Triscar is designed to keep the carbide where it belongs: in the cut.

FAQS

Quick-change tools let crews replace worn teeth on-site in minutes using a hammer and punch. They’re ideal for abrasive conditions where teeth wear quickly, and downtime is costly.
Watch for slower penetration rates, increased crowd pressure, rounded or missing carbide tips, and wear that reaches the tooth body or the holder. Replacing teeth before the holder is damaged is far less expensive than replacing both the holder and the teeth.
Yes. M&S Gruseck manufactures everything in-house, enabling special solutions tailored to your specific application, even if it’s not in the catalog. Send us your requirements, and we’ll work with the factory on a solution.
The right carbide grade balances hardness (wear resistance) against toughness (impact resistance). Highly abrasive soils call for harder grades, while fractured rock and mixed conditions need tougher grades that resist chipping. M&S Gruseck matches carbide sizes to the application to maximize tool life.
