The MR-5 ID is a versatile, portable hydraulic drilling unit designed for use with a down-the-hole hammer or rock drill. It features separate controls for right and left rotation and is powered by a hydraulic power pack that can run on electric, diesel, or petrol motors. The unit has a light, cradle-shaped tubular structure with wheels, making it easy to move and position. It includes stabilizers to enhance its stability.
The machine has a slide that mounts a hydraulic cylinder trolley, capable of pulling with a force of 1500 daN. It also features a turntable allowing for 360° rotation. A simple modification can equip the unit with a fast-rotating head for core drilling up to 50 mm in diameter. Like all Marini units, you can customize the MR-5 ID to meet different drilling requirements.
The power pack engine options are 20, 23, or 30 Hp. The torque, RPM, and percussion vary based on the head model used. The machine can pull back with a force of 2248 to 3372 lbf, handle clamps of 4.5 to 7.4 inches in diameter, and weighs between 1543 and 2204 lbs.
