The TE1000 is the largest drifter in the TEI product line. It’s made for installing hollow bars with a hole size of 3” to 7” (76.2 – 177.8 mm) and for drilling micropiles through all soil types.
The powerful percussion system incorporates the patented Automatic Stroke Adjustment (ASA) system that adjusts the power output for varying soil and rock conditions. This system has three different stoke outputs that you can adjust manually or automatically to work with the drill rig’s feed force.
There’s also a second accumulator for the high-pressure percussion. This provides smoother operation and dampening. The rotation of the TE1000 uses oversized bearings on the drill’s radial and thrust axes to handle the thrust output of the anchor rigs in today’s market. This system has two motors for different torque outputs and smoother drilling operations.
